Florida Pain Relief Group (FPRG) continues its growth and expansion in the Tampa Bay Area with the addition of Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Abraham Rivera, pain management specialist and board certified anesthesiologist. Dr. Rivera has been in private practice for over 20 years and had previously served as the Director of Pain Management at Florida Medical Clinic, a 200-physician multi-specialty group in the Tampa Bay Area.  Following his graduation from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1984, Dr. Rivera completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Albany Medical Center in New York.  He continued his medical career at Albany Medical Center in private practice and teaching until transitioning to Tampa, FL in 2005.  Dr. Rivera specializes in spinal cord simulation, intrathecal therapy and other advanced pain management interventions.
