Ahmed Mohamed and U.S. Congressman Mike Honda Hold Press Conference at House Triangle

Ahmed Mohamed, the fourteen year old high school freshman, who was arrested in Irving, Texas for bringing an alarm clock science project to his high school teacher has made his way to Washington DC to meet and hold a press conference with Congressman Mike Honda (D-Silicon Valley). They will speak in regards to the letter Congressman Honda sent to Attorney General Lorretta Lynch to urge the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate the circumstances surrounding Ahmed’s arrest. The press conference will be held at the House Triangle on the House side of the Capitol’s East Front. The press conference will begin at 8:15 AM Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, October 20th. It will begin with a brief introduction by Ron Price, a friend of the Mohamed family.
